This is a review of the Nike Air Monarch sneaker shoe. It seemed like a good shoe, it fit well and was pretty comfortable, had decent padding on the bottom with lots of leather which seemed like it would be durable. ON problem with that was that there was not enough air circulation and my feet would sweat in the winter time. I actually drilled two small holes in the side of the shoe to get air circulating, which worked.
The one big problem with the shoe, which you can hear in the video, is that is squeaks loudly, to the point of public embarrassment. It sounds like my feet are soaked with water when I walk. It’s so bad that I don’t wear them anymore. I only cut my grass with them, or work around the house in them. Anyway, you can watch more about it in the video. I won’t buy another pair of these again.

Had a problem as well with my Air Monarch and could not find a solution only people discussing the problem. Even called Nike and they did not have any solutions so I had to look for it myself. What I thought of is that when something squeaks you put oil on it so that is what I did. Removed the inner comfort pad and applied 3-in-one oil at the part that was squeaking. Lined some paper towels at the area to soak up any extra oil for a day of walking and put the pad back. It really works and stops the squeak.
